Mubarak Ojewale
Mubarak Adetunji Ojewale is a young scientist with a Ph.D. from the University of Porto, Portugal. His area of expertise lies in distributed real-time systems, particularly in the development of novel real-time data transmission control methods, which have resulted in significant contributions in this field. During his doctoral studies at CISTER, Mubarak focused on investigating innovative data transmission control methods to provide performance and safety guarantees in distributed real-time systems. He was actively involved in the Safecities project, which aimed at developing innovative solutions to enhance urban safety.
Before pursuing his doctoral studies, Mubarak worked as a Technology and Innovation consultant at Discovery Cycle Professionals, where he provided services to various clients such as technology and research establishments, international consortia, and national and national and sub-national governments. Mubarak has a stellar academic background, including a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan, where he graduated with First Class Honours in 2014, and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the African University of Science and Technology (AUST), where he obtained a distinction grade in 2016. Mubarak has authored several papers in esteemed conferences and journals and is a reviewer for several renowned conferences and journals, including IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE Communications Letters, and Journal of Systems Architecture.
