Javier Pérez Rodríguez

Javier Pérez Rodríguez was born in 1993 in Havana, Cuba. From a very young age he became interested in the field of robotics and automation. In 2012 he began to study Automation Engineering at the Technological University of Havana "José Antonio Echeverría" where he learned about the world of embedded systems and real-time processing, remaining passionate about these topics. During his studies he belonged to research groups of Digital Electronics and Embedded Digital Systems, and in 2017 he obtained his degree in Automation Engineering presenting a paper entitled "Algorithms for the segmentation and identification of Cuban license plates on RaspBerry Pi".
He joined the CISTER Research Centre in September 2018.
