45th Annual Conference of the Industrial Electronics Society, in Lisbon, Portugal

CISTER Researchers Luis Lino Ferreira and Renato Oliveira attended the IEEE 45th Annual Conference of the Industrial Electronics Society (IECON 2019), in Lisbon, Portugal, event that counted with the participation of more than 1200 persons.
Luis Lino Ferreira organized the special sessions and was session chair in the " IoT automation technologies and applications" and "Connected and Autonomous Vehicles/ IoT automation technologies and applications", and Renato presented the paper "A Domain Specific Language for Automotive Systems Integration". Luis Ferreira also took advantage of the opportunity to discuss further work on the Quality of Service Manager for the Arrowhead framework and to prepare the Join Productive 4.0 & Arrowhead Tools meeting, which will take place at CISTER in November.

Also, Luis Almeida participated in a meeting to discuss the organization of IES conferences. This participation took place in the scope of WFCS 2020 (16th IEEE Conference on Factory Communication Systems) that will take place in Porto from 27 to 29 of April of 2020 and is organized by CISTER with Luis Almeida as General Co-Chair.
