The CISTER Research Centre, located in Porto, Portugal, an international reference in the area of real-time and embedded computing systems, is opening 4 MSc-Student positions for candidates already enrolled or that will enroll in the 2021/2022 edition of the MSc Program on Critical Computing Systems Engineering at ISEP, Porto, Portugal.
Successful candidates will perform research activities within ongoing CISTER projects (see https://cister-labs.pt/projects), in parallel with the specific MSc studies. Research grants require exclusivity and will be funded by ISEP, Vortex CoLab or one of the companies collaborating with the MSc program (https://cister-labs.pt/mscccse/industry). It is therefore a great opportunity for the candidates to get introduced to what scientific research is, and to interact with professionals from big players (companies and research institutions) also participating in those projects, an aspect that is highly regarded when applying to industry or to get accepted in a PhD program, in the future.
Candidates must have a degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related areas.

O Centro de Investigação CISTER localizado no Porto, Portugal, e uma referência internacional na área de sistemas computacionais embebidos e de tempo real, irá conceder 4 bolsas para Aluno de Mestrado para os candidatos que venham a ser aceites e se inscrevam na edição 2021/2022 do Mestrado em Engenharia de Sistemas Computacionais Críticos do ISEP, Porto, Portugal. Cada bolsa consiste no montante de 836 Euros mensais, ao que acresce Seguro Social Voluntário e propinas.
Os bolseiros selecionados realizarão atividades de investigação enquadradas em tarefas de projetos em execução no CISTER (ver https://cister-labs.pt/projects), em paralelo com a frequência do plano de estudos do mestrado. As bolsas de investigação em causa exigem exclusividade e serão financiadas pelo ISEP ou por empresas que colaboram com o programa de mestrado (https://cister-labs.pt/mscccse/industry).
Estas bolsas são uma excelente oportunidade para os bolseiros se iniciarem no mundo da investigação, podendo assim realizar as suas atividades em contexto académico ou em contexto de empresas de referência nacional e internacional.
Os interessados devem possuir licenciatura em Engenharia Informática, Engenharia Eletrotécnica e de Computadores, Ciência de Computadores ou áreas afins.
